A baby in diapers needs about 6 diapers a day, which adds up to approximately 6,500 diapers over a diapering period of 3 years. For those who wash every 3 days and use pocket-style cloth diapers, around 20-24 diapers are needed for full-time use (one-size fits the child from about 4-16 kg). We estimate that a wash costs about €0,3.
Cost of disposable diapers: approximately €1,950
Cost of 24 reusable diapers, including washing: approximately €693
